Questions, answered
What's the difference between carbon and ceramic tint?
Both can reduce glare and provide UV protection, depending on the film. Ceramic films generally offer stronger infrared heat rejection, while carbon films are often a more affordable option if you're just going for the look.
Does darker tint block more heat?
Not necessarily. Darkness is measured by visible light transmission (VLT), while heat rejection depends on the film's ability to reject solar energy, particularly infrared radiation.
What does 5%, 20%, or 35% tint mean?
These numbers refer to the percentage of visible light that passes through the glass and film. The lower the number (ex. 15%), the less light passes through the window, and vice versa.
How long do I have to wait before rolling down my windows?
Our team will instruct you on how to take care of your tint installation to ensure perfection for years to come.
